Do you remember the fun Rosette Gift Topper I made a while back?

  

I found the instructions at debbie d's stamp studio.

I decided to take that same design but make banner with it instead.

I have a wall in my scrapbook room that has been screaming for decorating and when a quite weekend popped up I tackled my project.  I just love how it turned out, and I think my wall is much happier too! 

I wanted the colors to coordinate with my yellow walls.  So this is the paper I chose.  6 sheets are shown here but they are double sided so I actually had 12 fun papers to choose from.

I followed the simple instructions on debbie d's stamp studio to make the rosettes.  I made one for each letter.

For the rest of the project I used Bigz L Perfect Pennants Die, 3 1/2" Circle Die, Perfect Details Texturz Plate and of course the Big Shot.

I cut the back circle with the 3 1/2" Circle die and then ran through with the Texturz plate to make it pop a little bit more.  You can't really see the texture in the pictures.  The top circle was cut using the Perfect Pennants die on one of the scallop circles.

I cut a piece of  crochet trim ribbon about 3 1/2 inches long

and tied a simple not in the middle.

Hot glued the ribbon to the center of a scallop circle

Since I wanted the letters to stand up a little I used dimensionals cut in half on the back of the letter

and then center the letter and press on.

To make it stick out a little more I put dimensionals on the back of the scallop circle and stuck on top of the circle, then hot glued the flat circle onto the rosette.

When all of the rosettes where finished it was time to decide how I wanted to hang them.  I had several different ideas including hanging each individually with ribbon and hanging them from something, but I didn't have any "something" for them to hang from.  So I decided to string it along with some twine.

I really love how it looks hanging on my wall, and now I have some inspiring words when I want to create.
