I love Christmas!!
I start listening to Christmas music usually about a week before Halloween. And, when I start listening to Christmas music I get in the mood to start my Christmas crafts. I am so glad that my hubby puts up with me. :)
Every year my side of the family does a Christmas Ornament Exchange. This is my favorite tradition at Christmas time. There are 7 kids in my family and my Mom. So that means that we make 8 of the same ornament so we can exchange them and all have the same collection of ornaments. I love my family ornaments and they are great keepsakes. I think we have been doing it for about 10 years now so I have a great collection.
We have not exchanged our ornaments this year yet, so that means all of my family is getting a sneak peak. But they turned out so cute that I wanted to share them with you, so you would have the time to make some for your self.
I got the original idea from Craftberry Bush. Her Ornament is really cute but I thought I would show you how to make your own.
AND I made you a video tutorial so it would be easier to follow.
Aren't they cute? And they are really pretty cheap to make too!
But I couldn't leave well enough alone. The ornament needed a tag!
These are the supplies I used to make the tags
- 1 3/8 Square Punch
- Postage Stamp Punch
- Christmas Stamp
- Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker
- Red 3 mm Ribbon
To assemble them I started by writing my name and year on the back of the square and started layering using glue dots to hold everything in place.
I love how my Ornament turned out this year. I hope my family likes them.
These are my family ornaments from past years.

Your ornament is absolutely stunning, thanks for sharing.
