DIY Halloween Treat Boxes

I know Halloween is almost here but I think I have time for one more quick tutorial.

I wanted to give my friends at work a cute little Halloween treat and when I found the template for these boxes on Pinterest I knew they would be perfect.

The file was created by Kelleigh Ratzlaff and you can purchase the file at thedigichick.com.  I cut mine out using my Silhouette Cameo.

Repainted Ceramic Owl

I know I have told you before but...

I LOVE OWLS!

I just think they are the cutest!

Now, I know that I am not the first one to do this, I have actually seen this done on several other blogs.  But he is so cute that I didn't think you would mind seeing another.

I found this little guy at the Dollar Store.

He is kind of cute here but definitely needed the paint job.  This is what he looked like after 2 coats of acrylic paint.  I originally wanted to use spray paint but I couldn't find the color that I wanted so he got painted with a brush.  I am not too fond of the brush marks but couldn't get away from them so I am living with it.

I didn't buy him for a Halloween decoration, I intend to keep him up all year long,  but he does look really cute with my Halloween Decorations.

I got the cute Halloween Blocks from Summer Scraps who sells them on Etsy!

Paper Chain Fall Wreath Tutorial

I just love fall colors.  I think they bring a feeling of warmth and home.

Awhile ago I was browsing Pinterest and found this cute little diddy.

I love the look of this wreath!  So of coursed I pinned it.  And can you believe I actually made something that I pinned?  Crazy huh!

AMAZING Clam Chip Dip Recipe

This chip dip is an Adams family favorite and at any Adams Family function or event you are sure to find Clam Chip Dip on the table. So we have surnamed it Adams Dip because it is basically a part of the family. It is really that good!

I have debated several times on whether I should share this recipe. Not because it is a some family secret recipe but because the ingredients kind of make this dip sound nasty.  The first time I came into contact with this dip was while my husband and I were dating and I drove up to eat dinner with his family while they were camping and of course, the dip was a side.  I have never been a big fan of cottage cheese and that is one of the main ingredients.  I swore there was no way I was going to put that into my mouth.  Why would anyone put cottage cheese on a potato chip and eat it?  But I was young and in love and didn't want to offend my cute boyfriend.  So I took a chip and took the smallest amount of dip on my chip and ate it thinking I would have to do the fake smile "that is really good" while I tried to choke it down.

It was AMAZING!

Now I am hooked, so I guess its a good thing that I married that cute boy!

So here is the recipe for this AMAZING Adams Dip.

Work Stamping Day

I know I have said it before... I love where I work!

Every quarter we have a stamp day and all of the employees are invited to stamp and make some cards.  This time we made cute little notecards in a case.

When you first go into the room you are handed a little stack of supplies of everything you'll need to make the projects.

The best part is that both my husband and I work here so we get to stamp together!

DIY Spooky Halloween Tree

I love Halloween and it is going to be here before you know it!

I have never really decorated much for Halloween but it seems in the last 2 years I have started decorating a little here and a little there.  I still by no means go all out but I think I am slowly being converted to decorating my home for Halloween.

DIY Birthday Candy Jar

Several weeks ago was my hubby's birthday and I wanted to do something special for him.  We are lucky enough to work at the same place and I always leave about an hour later then him so I have the perfect opportunity to leave him a little something on his desk.

Scary Hand Sanitizer

Aren't these cute?  I made these for my kids to take to school for their teachers. Although when I was finished I wished that I had made an extra for me.

I found this idea while browsing Pinterest.  It actually came from the Etsy shop Belle of the Ball Designs.

Attempt at Ombre Tie Dye & Tshirt Refashion

Can you believe I made this super cute shirt out of a plain white shirt?

I got the design of the tshirt from Laura Lynn's Bits n Bobs. She has a great picture tutorial on her blog on how to sew this cute shirt.  But before I started sewing I really wanted to to ombre tie dye the shirt. It wasn't an epic fail but I did run into some complications so the shirt didn't quite have the ombre effect that I wanted, BUT I still really like how the shirt turned out.
