I know I am not the only one that has fallen in love with Ruffles & Stuff's Wrapped in Bows Scarf Tutorial. It really is just so cute!
It all started when I got this for my Birthday! Thanks honey!
I wanted a quick and easy project that I could test it out on.
I bought 2 scarves at Old Navy for only $1 each on clearance. When I got them home I realized they were a little wide. So I just used 1 scarf cut in half lengthwise.
My other sewing machine had like 9 basic stitches and this one has lots of pretty stitches. So for my scarf I decided to embroider the edges with a fancy snow stitch.
Ruffles & Stuff really does have a great tutorial and I want to make sure and give her credit for it so you really should go check it out. It is very easy to follow. Plus, that means I don't need to recreate it because it is already done!
The bows turned out so cute with the stitching along the edges.
I love my new scarf, and my new sewing machine!

I couldn't believe something so beautiful was made by a regular sewing machine. Hats off to the person who is putting in the extra effort in creating these scarfs.
